I lasted 30 minutes and then that was enough.

Good thing too, now I can get both Lost and Veronica Mars in HD next week.

Based on what you guys are saying, I'm glad I didn't waste my time with this one.

That's pretty much what I was thinking. The Agency was a great show, I liked E-Ring, it will fulfill my Agency absence for now.

I thought it was ok

The extraction scene was pretty good, but some of Bratt's dialouge was was awful.

I liked it. The cast is pretty solid. This is one that has great potential.

Can't wait to see Episode 2. I quite liked the show. Unfortunately there are sooo many new TV shows lately.

If the ratings tank, maybe they'll introduce an alien storyline. That's ratings gold nowadays.

Angie had a nice figure. Will she be off the show with Rutherford coming on board?

E-Ring 9/28/05

I am guessing most people aren't watching this show as there was not already a thread.

I had decided to give it one more chance and I ended up watching before bed last night.

So the first 15 miutes I am really noticing what a horrible show this is. Bad, bad dialogue, horrible acting, cliches. I am thinking I am going to cancel the season pass and free up some time.

But for some reason I actually got sucked in to the story and it held my interest for the episode. I am now torn because it is a truly sucky show, but why am I so entertained?

This episode added Kelly Rutherford to the cast, I like her. Kerr Smith was also introduced and I am guessing might be a recurring character. They also had that one geeky guy from LAX show up. I really like this secondary cast, with the exception of the girlfirend who is a boring character who adds nothing to the show.

Dennis Hopper was really fun to watch this episode. I was struck by what a horrible actor he is (almost worse here than his stint in 24). But he is absolutely hilarious here, as almost a parody of a crusty old military coot. I got a huge grin out of him constantly referring to an environmental protest ship as a French "hippie boat".

I can't believe I plan on watching the next episode. It's so bad it's good.

I saw it for the first time last night and hated it. All of the characters suck and there is nothing interesting or different about this show at all. I have already cancelled my season pass.

I liked the episode last night. I agree with you, Dennis Hopper was great. Next weeks episode looks promising since it will be almost all action based.

I thought it was ok, but nothing to write home about. I'll probably give a little more of a chance than the one episode I've seen.

Funny I liked last nights episode. I think they already need to do away with the generals signing off on a mission with dramatic music playing montage though. I also find Ben's girlfriend really boring for some reason.

I liked Dennis Hopper and hippie boat and him marking out about Fulton STAR extraction idea.

I also find that the missions though short have a good tension too them.

Eh, I'm done with this show. It is a gas to watch Dennis Hopper, the quintessential hippy, try to act straight-laced, though.

Decent. I'll stick with it.

Loved Hopper's comments about the hippie boat - "aren't there some gay whales they can save."

I can't get over what a bad photoshop that was of Bin Laden and the terrorist they were after

I like Hopper and the action sequences.

They need to lose the stupid cutaway sequence that shows everyone signing the orders.

Nah, way too cliched.

Of all the Bruckheimer TV shows this one seems to have his unfortunate distinctive touch.

Every conversation seems to be a conflict. Unless it's of course, when everything stops for the save-the-day speech (cue the music). Two shows and it already seems formulaic.

I actually liked this episode. A big improvement from the 1st episode, thought I think it was more the story that caught me than anything else.

As for the girlfriend I like her, she give me something to look at during the episode. Also for putting in Ashley Williams as Kerr Smith's wife. Makes me actually wish for a bit more Good Morning Miami.
